Writing Star - Term 1, Week 3
In sustained writing this week, we took our inspiration from the beautiful video Dreamgiver (found at http://www.literacyshed.com/the-fantasy-shed.html).
The Week 3 Writing Star is Penny! She wrote:
The Dream Giver came through the window and gave mum a dream. As mum mumbled in her sleep she dreamt of Jesus. Jesus was kneeling at the river. Mum went over to him and talked to him. He said, "Happy birthday." Mum spent all night talking to him. It was a wonderful dream.

Spaghetti
The 2/3 class spent some time exploring spaghetti. We found that before spaghetti is cooked it is stiff, hard, pointy, slightly bendable and straight - perfect for building towers with. However, after spaghetti is cooked it is soft, flexible and curly - great for writing our names and playing tic-tac-toe with.
