As the Terrific 2/3s were super excited about retired members of the West Coast Eagles coming to our school next week to teach them some footy skills, they decided to make posters about the West Coast Eagles to thank them.

On Thursday and Friday, in the Year 2/3 classroom nearly the whole class were making awesome West Coast Eagles posters for the retired Eagles players who are coming down to visit our school and teach us football skills!

Homework Stars - Term 2, Week 4

The Homework Stars for this week are Kate, Jordan, Sophia, Josie, Josh, Tyson and Penny.  All of these students completed all of their homework and returned it on Friday.  Great work!

Handwriting Stars - Term 2, Week 4

The Handwriting Stars for this week are Jett and Josie.  Well done to both of you!  Both Jett and Josie took their time to ensure that their handwriting was neat and small.  They also edited their work.

Maths with MAB Blocks

The Terrific 2/3s did some maths where they were required to add and subtract 10 from two digit numbers.

Noongar Dreaming Story - the Waakarl

The Terrific Two/Threes read a book about the Dreaming Story of the Waakarl and how the Waakarl created the landscape.

Archaeological Dig in the Sandpit

The 2/3 archaeologists went on a expedition to the sandpit to uncover some precious artefacts using both their patience and paintbrushes.

Last Thursday at St Joseph's sandpit, Miss S and all the 2/3 class dug up boomerangs and coolamons to learn about Noongar artefacts.
