Homework Stars - Term 1, Week 8
The Homework Stars for this week are Penny, Jordan, Tyson, Kate and Sophia. Well done to all of you! These students each completed all of their homework to a high standard. Some of these students even completed extra homework!
Mass Stars - Term 1, Week 8
This week the Terrific 2/3s ran the mass for our school and parish.
Every student participated well by either doing readings or prayers, or by bringing up the gifts.
The Mass Stars for this week are Penny and Jordan. Both of these students read clearly and confidently in front of the congregation, despite only being in Year 2!

Sports Star - Term 1, Week 8
This week our Sports Star is Penny.

- She demonstrated some excellent dribbling skills, including some reverse stick dragging.
- She complimented and cheered others on for the entire sports session.
Indoor Hockey
The Terrific 2/3s have been learning how to play indoor hockey. Miss S is very impressed with the skills they have picked up already. They have learnt how to dribble, push the ball (not hit!) and how to tackle safely.

Kate's Procedure - Directions to Church
Directions to Church
Goal: To walk from year 2/3 classroom to the Church.
Materials: You will need:
- A director
Steps:
1. Line up at the 2/3 classroom door.
2. Take 18 steps to the 2/3 gate.
3. Turn left and then stop.
4. Take 4 steps and turn left.
5. Walk 13 steps and turn right then stop.
6. Take 10 steps and turn right.
7. Take 4 steps and turn right.
8. Take 4 steps and turn right.
9. Take 12 steps and then turn right and stop.
10. Take 2 steps and turn left.
11. Take 8 steps and then turn left then stop.
12. Hold on to the rail on the steps.
13. Take 13 steps down the stairs and stop.
14. Take 34 steps and stop.
15. Hold on to the rail at the steps.
16. Take 5 steps down the steps and then stop.
17. Hold on to the rial on the stairs then stop.
18. Take 11 steps down the steps and stop.
19. Take 16 steps and stop.
20. Turn left and take 11 steps and stop.
21. Take 6 steps and stop.

1. Line up at the 2/3 classroom door.
2. Take 21 steps.
3. Turn left.
4. Take 9 steps and turn left.
5. Take 15 steps, turn right.
6. Take 9 steps down the ramp.
7. Turn left take 13 steps and turn left.
8. Take 3 steps and take 6 steps and turn right.
9. Take 6 steps and turn left and take 17 steps.
10. Turn left and take 14 steps and turne lfte.
11. Be careful take 13 steps .
12. Take 50 steps be carefl we are gowing dune the sters.
13. Take 10 steps be careful we are gowing down the sters.
14. Take 28 steps take 16 steps turne left.
15. Take 13 steps.
