A Puppet for News!

After seeing a performance by the Spare Parts Puppet Theatre last Friday, Penny and her mum spent their weekend very well making a puppet of their own!  Just like the puppet in the show, this puppet bird had its own egg shell to hatch out of.

The puppet was very popular during News Time!

The Dog Got Stuck in the Shearing Shed!!

One cold morning, at the wet shearing shed Kate and Patch were running in the soaked grass.

After, we went into the shearing shed where Patch caught her fur on a sharp bit of wire Patch yelped and yelped.  Kate didn’t  know what to do!  Patch looked very sore.  She had to rest for a whole three hours because they put medicine in her sore skin to make her hair grow back quicker.  Kate was very sad because they couldn’t run in the grass together and couldn’t chase the bald sheep!

The next sunny morning Patch’s hair grew back! We  took her to the fantastic vet. Patch felt so much better because Patch was so so relaxed. The next sunny day it was fun shaering day.  Patch always loved to chase the sheep into the right pens. 

They were finished shearing the sheep at sunset.  Patch felt so much better after she had a bath and dinner, then hopped into bed and watched some TV!

The Dog Stuck in the Mud

One happy and freezing day at the big farm Jett and Dad were milking the dirty cows when something awful happened!  Read on to find out why.

They were getting the cows in when Jett and Dad saw Minty their dog.  She was walking to them.  She got stuck in the mud.

They rode over fast to Minty and saw her struggling in the mud.  Jett and DAD felt sad to see Minty suffering.

Jett went into the mud to get Miuty out.  Jett grabbed Minty by the collar pulled them both out of the mud.  Jett and Minty were covered in mud with pockets full of mud!  Jett was happy and cold.

Titan

One sunny morning Sophia and Titan were playing at Teresa and Jack’s fantastic house.  Sophia and Titan were playing fetch the ball and Titan always fetched the ball.

Sophia was playing and then Sophia heard an, “Awww!”  Sophia thought that Titan was tricking. Sophia ran over to Titan the second time her said, “Awww!”   Sophia tried to make him get up but Titan did not get up.  Sophia was scared and Sophia thought that Titan had dislocated his leg.

Sophia rang Teresa and said that Titan did not get up and then Teresa came and rang the vet.  The vet came and took Titan to his work.  Another day later Titan came back and the vet said that Titan had broken his leg.  Sophia was terrified and then the vet said that Titan could not run.  Sophia did what the vet said. 

A week later Titan did not get up and run.  Sophia said, “Again, ah!”  then Sophia got some pain relief on Titans leg.  Titan got up and ran like the wind!  Sophia was so very happy because Titan got up.  Then Sophia and Titan started playing again!
